Radical1 Therapy is a private physical therapy and wellness studio in Carefree, Arizona. Every session is one-on-one with Elisa Passaro, PT, and shaped around your recovery, movement, and goals.
With over 30 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, Elisa Passaro, PT brings a rare blend of clinical mastery, intuition, and heart-centered care to every session. After earning her degree in Physical Therapy in 1994, she spent years refining her expertise in orthopedic and sports medicine before creating Radical1 Therapy — a private, boutique practice devoted to healing through connection, movement, and mindful precision.
Elisa’s goal is for every client to feel seen, heard, and guided. Through customized, one-on-one, hands-on, and movement-based care she helps each person move toward healing, wholeness and transformation.
Rooted in science and guided by faith, she creates individualized pathways for recovery and renewal, helping clients not only return to movement but rediscover confidence, strength, and alignment.
Outside the studio, Elisa is passionate about fitness and maintaining an active lifestyle. As a former fitness competitor, she continues to enjoy weight training, hiking, and other athletic pursuits. She also loves traveling, exploring beautiful places, and sharing life’s adventures with the people she loves. Her life is deeply rooted in prayer, her belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Radical1 Therapy was born from a desire to create the kind of care I believe people truly need—private, one-on-one, customized care where they feel seen, heard, and guided. I wanted to create a space of freedom, which is reflected in the Radical1 logo: a heart with an open-ended “1,” representing individualized care, healing, growth, and the freedom to come for a season or continue forward into greater strength, wellness, and performance.
As a cash-based concierge practice, I’m able to tailor care around the individual rather than a system. My approach is intentional, relational, hands-on, and rooted in both science and faith—a place where spirit meets science. I believe God has given each of us unique gifts, and I use mine, along with more than 30 years of clinical and fitness experience, to help people heal, move, grow, and become stronger. My faith in Jesus Christ and the guidance and power of the Holy Spirit are foundational to the heart behind Radical1 Therapy.
Radical1 welcomes athletes and active adults, people recovering from surgery or injury, and anyone committed to staying strong, mobile, and independent. What they share is a desire for private, customized care and the commitment to invest in their health.
Whether your goal is recovery, greater performance, or long-term strength, sessions combine hands-on physical therapy, movement-based care, and individualized fitness training around your needs. Care is available by appointment in the studio or in the convenience of your home.
I value relationships built on integrity, clear communication, and follow-through. In working with clients and connecting with other professionals, I care about both the quality of the work and the way people are treated.
In some busy outpatient settings, a therapist may be responsible for several patients during the same hour. At Radical1, the session is reserved for you. Elisa can hear the full story, observe the movement that matters to you, and adapt treatment in the moment. You see the same physical therapist throughout your care, with no rotation between an aide and a crowded treatment floor.
That continuity helps her notice what is changing, explain the next step, and connect hands-on work to practical movement. You have space to ask questions and take an active role in the plan. It is a more personal way to receive physical therapy, with time devoted to your goals.
Arizona generally allows people to seek physical therapy directly. A surgeon’s instructions may still affect your care. If you are recovering from surgery, bring the protocol and any restrictions you received.
Sessions are typically 60 minutes. Elisa works with you one-on-one throughout the visit.
That depends on your goals, condition, and response to care. Elisa will discuss a plan after your first assessment and adjust it as you progress.
